No disrespect to Indians

Stop enabling this young man's cause! The more press he receives the more of a "crusade" he will be on. I am a proud graduate of Central High School, as my parents and my grandparents and my children are and will be. My oldest son graduated with Ibrahim Elshamy and this young man designed the senior T-shirt they all wore so proudly with the Indian on it. The Indian is on the well-respected school newspaper, The Little Green. It is what Central High School has always been identified by. A mascot doesn't represent disrespect, it represents your school and the pride and school spirit behind it.

Since when did being politically correct take away from school spirit? It is very sad when a student body can't be proud and supportive of their school mascot out of fear that they are not being "politically correct," that they may offend someone or something.
